Buffalo Exchange Celebrates 40 years: Tour and Event

buff 5As an UnderEmployed Fashionista one might say I’m a savvy thrifting shopper. One of my favorite spots is Buffalo Exchange, particularly the one in my local Georgetown, DC. So when I was informed of their 40th anniversary party and sale I knew I HAD to be there! I mean, I try to get there on a weekly basis, but this was going to be bigger

Saturday morning came as I excitedly headed downtown ready to see an airstream and some killer vintage pieces. While the bustling city proved to be too busy for a silver bus, the event carried on inside with face painting, amazing deals, free swag, and some seriously buzzing shoppers and associates. Due to it being their anniversary, they brought in some classic Arizona and vintage pieces from boots and satchels to shimmery sequined dresses and accessories.

Donations at the event went towards Yellowstone National Park, so it was all very environmentally conscious as well. All this to celebrate 40 amazing years of fabulous thrifting? HELL YES! While most of the southern tour dates are finished, the tour itself isn’t quite done. Be sure to check here to see if the silver airstream party is coming to you soon!
