Collab to Watch: Peter Som for Kohl’s

It’s Spring; the start of a fresh season, and with that comes all the new designer collaborations for mass retailers. Good news for us UnderEmployed ladies, these are all decently affordable! We already discussed the groundbreaking collab of Isabel Toledo and Lane Bryant, but today marks the opening of another to watch; Peter Som for DesigNation, available at Kohl’s department stores.

While Kohl’s has been fighting to stay afloat in the market, many of their designer pairings didn’t seem to generate the buzz of retailers such as Target or H&M. But now with this latest collection, times are changing.sompeter

Inspired by beachy and relaxed St Barths, the collection boasts tropical vibes; airy, flowing maxi skirts, lightweight and printed separates, and let’s not forget the shoes. There’s a piece for everyone from the preppy girl to the edgier lass with some faux leather vests and monochromatic linear pieces, and even cheeky tees for the sporty girl. With the tagline “wear clothes that make you feel happy” and prices under $88, this line is definitely a MUST HAVE for spring!

What do you think of this collection? Will you be picking any of it up for upcoming warmer weather!? Be sure to shop your local Kohl’s store or online at
